Refund Policy
1Overview
All purchases of CLASSARK subscriptions are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), our authorised reseller and Merchant of Record. Because Paddle is the seller of record for all transactions, Paddle's refund policy governs your purchase.
2Subscription Billing
CLASSARK subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis — either monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select at sign-up. All payments are collected and processed securely by Paddle.
- Monthly plans — billed every 30 days from the date of subscription
- Annual plans — billed once per year from the date of subscription
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
3Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings, via the "Manage subscription" link in your receipt email, or by contacting us at [email protected].
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will retain access to the platform until then.
- Cancelling a monthly plan stops the next month's charge.
- Cancelling an annual plan stops the next year's renewal.
Cancelling does not automatically generate a refund. See the section below for refund eligibility.
4Refund Eligibility
Paddle's Refund Policy
Because Paddle is the Merchant of Record, Paddle's Refund Policy applies to all transactions. Key points:
- EU / EEA / Switzerland / UK consumers have a statutory 14-day right to withdraw from a new subscription and receive a full refund.
- All customers may submit a refund request within 14 days of a transaction date. Paddle reviews requests on a case-by-case basis and may approve a full or partial refund at its discretion.
- Refunds are not issued where there is evidence of fraud, abuse, or manipulative behaviour.
- If access to a refunded subscription has already been used, Paddle may still issue a refund — access will cease once the refund is approved.
Country-specific rules (Turkey, Israel, South Korea, Brazil, Singapore, and others) may grant additional statutory rights. Paddle applies the highest applicable standard in each region. See Paddle's full policy for details.
Technical or Product Defects
If you experience a persistent technical issue that prevents you from accessing the platform as described, contact us first at [email protected]. If we are unable to resolve it, you may escalate to Paddle's support team and Paddle will issue a refund where a material defect is confirmed.
5How to Request a Refund
Refund requests are handled by Paddle. You can submit one by:
- Visiting paddle.net and selecting "Request refund"
- Using the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your payment confirmation email
- Contacting us at [email protected] and we will coordinate with Paddle on your behalf
If approved, refunds are returned to your original payment method within 14 days of approval.
6Plan Changes
Upgrades
When you upgrade to a higher plan, the new rate takes effect immediately. Any unused portion of your current billing period may be credited toward the new plan (prorated).
Downgrades
Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. No refund is issued for the price difference during the current period.
Required upgrades
Plan allowances (students, assistants, storage) are not hard technical caps. If your usage consistently exceeds the plan you pay for beyond a reasonable margin, we may require an upgrade or bill for the excess usage, as described in our Acceptable Use Policy. Charges applied for confirmed over-plan usage are not refundable.
7Changes to This Policy
We may update this page from time to time to reflect changes in our relationship with Paddle or applicable law. The version of Paddle's refund policy in effect at the time of your transaction governs that transaction.
